The big day is finally here! We have made some big changes to improve client requests & communication!

  1. Client tasks are now in the same view as team tasks

  2. Client communication is now centralized in Financial Cents & the client portal

Client tasks are now in the same view as team tasks with new functionality

We moved client tasks to the same view as the team tasks to allow you to create better and more automated workflows. It not only makes your workflow more intuitive but adds a lot of new functionality. Some of these new features include:

  • Automatically trigger a client request to send when a dependent task is completed

  • Send multiple client requests at different times throughout the project

  • When sending multiple client request items, you can each request to different client contacts

  • The ability to add automations on client task sections

If you were using client tasks before then it has been moved to the bottom of your workflow. However, you can easily drag it to a different position, as shown in the video above.

Client chat is now centralized in Financial Cents & the portal with new functionality.

We made this change to centralize all client communication in one place. Some of the new functionality with this update includes the ability to:

  • View all conversations with a client in a single project

  • View all conversations with a client within the client's profile

  • Organize client conversations into topics

  • Search across all topics/conversations with that client

  • Specify which team members can view which client conversations/topics

  • Specify which client contacts can view which client conversations/topics

  • Ability to share documents & have more styling options in the client chat

This is just the beginning. We have a lot more improvements coming to client chat soon, including:

  • The ability to reply to specific comments in chat

  • The ability to use emojis in chat
