How do I troubleshoot missing QBO transactions?

If you’re missing transactions from QBO, follow these steps:

  1. First, ensure that the transactions are properly categorized within QBO with the correct Accounts. Second, ensure you are using the correct Accounts filter in Finacial Cents.

  2. From your Financial Cents settings, unhide old transactions and re-import them.

If the issue persists, please contact our Chat Support for further assistance.

Can I import split transactions to Financial Cents?

Currently, split transactions are not imported into Financial Cents. Only the first transaction in a split will be imported.

How do I disconnect ReCats from a client?

To disconnect ReCats from a client:

  1. Go to the Client dashboard.

  2. Click on the Transactions tab.

  3. Inside Transactions, click the Settings gear and select Disconnect Integration. This will remove the integration with QuickBooks Online and disconnect the client.

Please note: If you no longer want to pay for that ReCats License, you must go to Settings > Billing > Categorized Transactions (ReCats) to adjust the number of licenses in your ReCats Subscription.

How do I enable ReCats for a client?

To enable ReCats for a client:

  • First, adjust the number of Licenses in your ReCats Billing page

    • Go to Settings > Billing > Client Transactions (ReCats).

    • Click on +Purchase License.

  • Then, click here for the steps required to enable ReCats on a client.

How can I view all my clients with ReCats?

There are two ways to view all your clients on ReCats:

  1. From your Client dashboard, enable the Transactions column by clicking the gear icon and selecting Transactions. Any client with ReCats enabled with uncategorized transactions will show a transaction count.

  2. Alternatively, you can view all integrated clients by going to Settings > Billing > Client Transactions (ReCats).

What do I do if I get an Intuit error message?

If you receive an Intuit error, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure all details are correctly filled in and categorize your transactions using the Category column.

  2. Refresh your page and try again.

Can I bulk categorize transactions?

Yes, bulk categorization is available in ReCats. To use this feature, select the transactions you want to categorize and click Bulk Categorize.

Can I hide transactions?

Yes, you can hide transactions from your Transactions page. To do this, click the Settings gear on your Transactions page and use the Hide Old Transactions field.

How much does ReCats cost for a client?

The ReCats feature costs $4 USD per month per client.

Can I add a Class, Tax code, or Billable Status to a transaction?

Yes, you can add a Class, Tax Code, or Billable Status to a transaction. Go to the Transaction tab on your client dashboard and use the Category column to click Class, billable and more to add each option.

How do I manage my subscription for ReCats?

To manage your ReCats subscription:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Client Transactions (ReCats).

  2. You can view all your integrated clients from here, cancel licenses, and manage unused licenses.

How do I introduce ReCats to our clients?
