Banking validation for deposits includes two checks:

1) Ensuring that the banking data provided is accurate and links to an open bank account

2) Ensuring that the bank account is owned by the business

We use data providers to confirm the information sent during the billing application. If the data provider is unable to validate the bank account it may mean that the bank doesn't participate in data sharing with the specific data providers, or that the information provided is inaccurate or otherwise does not match. In these cases, we may ask for additional information to manually validate the bank account.

The two acceptable documents are a voided check or bank letter.

Deposit slips, direct deposit forms, screenshots, and other documentation are not acceptable forms of documentation.

Requirements for a Voided Check

A voided check must include the following pre-printed data elements and must not be a starter check: • Bank name

• Business legal name and address matching the Business

• Routing number and account number

Requirements for a Bank Letter

A bank letter must include the following pre-printed data elements and must be on bank letterhead:

• Bank name

• Business legal name and address matching the billing application

• Routing number and account number
